From Dreaming of Sports Casting to Founding Destination 40: The Journey of Shauna Shepherd

As a child, Shauna Shepherd harbored dreams of becoming a sports caster, inspired by the likes of Hannah Storm, Linda Cohn, and Pam Oliver. However, life took an unexpected turn during her time at San Diego State University in the early 2000's.

In search of part-time employment, Shauna found herself working for a real estate developer and property management company. It was during this stint that her fascination with property management ignited. Post-graduation, Shauna continued her journey with the same company, weathering the storm through the challenging 2007-2008 financial crisis.

Being a perpetual seeker of knowledge, Shauna expanded her expertise by obtaining real estate licenses in California, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.  Yet, as an introvert, Shauna encountered challenges in generating leads and prospects without relying on familial connections.

It was in response to this challenge that Shauna conceived the idea of Destination40, a lifestyle brand for real estate agents. Recognizing the need for a fresh approach to advertising real estate services - one that avoids the stereotypical pushy sales tactics - Destination40 became Shauna's innovative solution. Through this brand, she aims to create a platform where real estate professionals can market their services organically, providing value without the need for an aggressive sales pitch.

Join us as we delve deeper in to Shauna Shepherd's unique journey and the inception of Destination40, a beacon for real estate agents seeking a more authentic and organic path to success.
